Whether a student or not, one’s learning is never complete.

Licensed in three areas and having spent my first seven months teaching in a fourth and fifth, my life is living proof that one is never truly done learning. Whether in training, workshops or in the classroom, each day brought new lessons and discoveries for my students and I. This was the life of a rural teacher described by the hats she wore: lead teacher, co-teacher, case manager, first-year teacher, ELL resource and more.

Now, it takes on the mantle of a Reading Corps Tutor working with third graders who need just a little extra support in the development of their reading skills.

With one door closed, and another opened, who knows where the journey will go next?
